Parks - On September 25th the    City will begin working on the park equipment that was donated to the City from Warrenton Oil Comapany last fall.  We have several volunteers ligned up to help out so hopefully it will be finished the same day it's started.  Weather permitting, the make up day will be October 5th.

Thanks again to Mayor Phares for getting the equipment donated to the City and we thank Carl Bedford (Owner of Bedford Masonry and North Callaway Storage) for donating the storage shed to store the equipment in.  It's always a great appreciation to have the community pull together when needed.

Main Street - Stephanie Leverett, Northward Alderman, has donated her time planting flowers in our new planters that have been placed on each side of Main Street.  Great job done Stephanie!  Thanks for helping out!

Christmas Parade - Yes the Christmas Parade isn't until December but as many of you have noticed the parades haven't been lasting that long, the last several years.  We're hoping to have each and everyone who can participate, to do so and show the spirit.  If you have something you would like to put in the parade, give us a call and we can put you down.  Hopefully we'll see lots of DECORATED FLOATS, CHRISTMAS TREES, CHRISTMAS MUSIC/FLOATS, SCHOOL BANDS, EVEN FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, SOFTBALL, CHEERLEADERS (DRESSED FOR WINTER OF COURSE)  Be proud of who you are, show yourself off and have fun.  That's what it's all about, right?   Schools, Churches, Organizations, Businesses, Daycares, anything and anyone just be in the Christmas spirit!  Watch in the future newsletters for the date of the parade and mark your calendars for a fun day ahead!
